Flat cold-rolled low-carbon steel products for cold drawing or bending.
These non-alloy, low-carbon steels are used in a variety of sectors including: automotive, household and sanitary appliances, small parts, metal furniture, boilers and radiators.
Thanks to their unique properties, cold-rolled products are ideal for forming via bending or moulding and are suitable for surface treatments, including phosphatising, dip galvanising and electrolytic coatings.
Different surface types are available based on sheet roughness value:
• Common gloss (b) : Ra ≤ 0.40 μm;
• Semi-gloss (g) : Ra ≤ 0.90 μm;
• Normal (m) : 0.60 ≤ Ra ≤ 1.90 μm;
• Rough (r) : Ra ≤ 1.60 μm.
Unless otherwise specified in the order, sheets are supplied with a normal finish.

The Chiminello Srl warehouse keeps a stock of standard size material available and ready for collection at the customer’s request.
Upon specific customer request, sheets with a thickness of 8/10/12/15 mm can be supplied.
Chiminello S.r.l. is able to supply steel strap hinges, sheet metal squares and various flat pieces with thicknesses ranging from 0.3 mm to 3.0 mm
The introduction of a new sheet metal levelling and cutting system allows Chiminello S.r.l. to meet the needs of the manual moulding market, light carpentry, small batch machining and non-automated processes.
